Day Out With Florals

As part of my LA trip, I prepared many outfits to take advantage of the gorgeous weather, and so I bring you a summer outfit in the middle of winter! If you follow my blog you’ll know I love off-the-shoulder anything; It’s feminine and simply impossible to mess up. I went for a casual day out vibe and matched my floral off-the-shoulder top with shorts and sneakers (Shoes matter! you’d change the vibe to “sexy” by just wearing some strapped heels). Florals and warm toned accessories together is a match made in heaven, so I wore some dainty gold accessories and made sure they’re subtle so they don’t add onto the busy-ness, including this beautiful minimal choker from Lucky Jerks – an accessory e-shop with everything hand made in Paris! I’ve always been a fan of gold coloured accessories, it’s versatile and timeless. In comparison, gold also offers a wider range of options i.e. white gold, rose gold, etc. while silver accessories tend to make a bolder statement – so depends on how you feel that day, accessorize accordingly. 🙂 Thanks …

Super Casual

I’ve not yet expressed this, but I take every opportunity to avoid pants 😛 They are just so limiting! Now because of that, I am very much into casual looks with long sweaters or tees that can be worn as dresses. To me they are much more comfortable than your most stylish jeans. Here’s a basic long hoodie from Forever 21 in color grey, matched with my white Zooshoo sneakers. It’s a perfect look for gloomy & windy summer days, and the comfort is to die for! I am into unique accessories, and obsessed with the color gold this season. This bracelet ring is form Aldo for about $20, I fell in love instantly after seeing it. Here are some more shots of this look. Hope you liked this simple look!

Men’s Section?

We’ve all seen cross dressing among children, little boys dressed up in tutu dresses and little girls in tom boy caps. But just because we grow older doesn’t necessarily mean we must grow out of it 🙂 There are certainly things I appreciate about men’s fashion, such as its simplicity, masculinity and definition. This is especially the case when I am going for a “tough girl” or “street” look. For example, if you are looking for a motor jacket, you need to try the men’s section, there are just more styles there! And since they are meant to be a little baggy, a size small for men would be perfect for girls with a small/medium fit. Here I have a Tee from H&M men’s section (can you tell?), for $20. I’ve been loving this long Tee trend in men’s fashion, and I decided to personally embrace it as well, because a long Tee for men means it’s a casual & street chic T-shirt dress for me 🙂

Fall Chic

Hi lovelies! This was actually a very cold day! But I decided to sacrifice myself for the blog. They were taken nowhere fancy – near my neighborhood 🙂 Here I have a black romper with collar from from a boutique on Queen St, Toronto, matched with a royal blue blazer from H&M, and black ankle heels from Aldo. Cool thing about the romper is definitely the back! Super funky rectangle cutout. It’s a bold look showing back like this, but I considered it versatile because I can simply throw on a top with it, or blazer.   Here’s me trying to pose like a model.  The model shoot continues. I matched my with white leaf earrings for some contrast – they are my current absolute favorites, you will probably see more of them in my future posts. xx.
