Styling Faux Fur

What comes to mind when you think about wearing fur? I personally think of couture, statement, luxury, and maybe freezing cold, haha. I’ve recently discovered a new found appreciation for it as I looked for winter outfit alternatives. I’ve now officially ventured into the world of faux fur coats and I can’t seem to stop. It’s addictive. I’ve always thought fur coats are very pretty but happily stayed away because I wasn’t sure how to style it without it looking a little “too much”, and that hasn’t changed, I still think it can look excessive, I just no longer have a problem with it. 🙂 Why should you limit yourself from wearing what you feel like on any given day? I’ve picked up this gorgeous fur coat in pink from Shein.com and it’s a great buy, it kept me warm on this zero degree weather and it just looks so chic. It’s on sale so click here to check it out! How to accessorize: Remember, it’s a coat, but it’s also a fancy accessory because of the fur, so you …

Fur Vests – Fall Cozy Chic

I’d say furry vest is a signature fall garment, suited for the cooler temperature and season of layering. But rather than a fashion staple, it’s more of a statement piece with a touch of extravagance and luxury. This is a throw back outfit, as you can see my hair was still black :-). I rocked this vest with some basic blacks – tee, watch and boots, along with some accessories that screamed “look at me!”. The best thing about fur vests is that you really don’t need to put much thoughts into the styling. It may not seem like it, but it’s extremely versatile. An oxford shirt, a cocktail dress, a sweater, a silky dress-shirt – wear it with anything you want, a fur vest up top will instantly amp up the chic! And of course, the cozy. If you don’t believe me, check out the Pinterest page for fur vests outfits, it’s so hard to go wrong! Although this was a bigger trend years back, don’t let your fur vests collect dust in the closet! 🙂

Canada Goose

Toronto’s winter is incredibly cold – often times it requires us ladies to sacrifice style and dress in lots of layers in exchange for comfort and warmth. But it doesn’t have to be like that! I personally am a fan of good quality coats/jackets, and it certainly helps me survive in freezing weather in style! Canada Goose was THE trend 3-4 years back, no matter where you go, you would spot people wearing a Goose bomber. I was no exception, but I did choose a less popular style – The Victoria.

Black & White. Color.

Hi Lovelies! Before I went out, I decided to capture my outfit of the day. Did I mention here I am wearing simply the coolest earring? Four butterflies hangs on it! I am wearing a long furry sweater/cardigan on this chilly day. It is comfortable, it is warm, it is fashionable – all that come at one cost, it sheds fur! But I still love it regardless 🙂 I remember running between two malls to find my size (this is $50 from Garage!). Inside I am wearing a very simple black dress found at a boutique. It is one of my favorite styles but it is a rare find, I bought it with zero hesitation after seeing it. It is high-low, but it is not flow-y nor does it flare out. it is cotton material and although it does not provide a shape, it is slimming 🙂 You must have seen these shoes many times by now (and bag). The MK watch is a new find though! Oh and the necklace, apologies that I did not shoot a …
