Pretty in White

It’s always been a love-hate relationship with the shade white, because although it brightens every look and brings a youthful vibe, it just gets stained so easily. But that’s OK, I’ll just have to be extra careful :). Here I have my favorite chic cape-blazer from Zara matched with culottes of the same texture (don’t you just love the black ribbons for the contrast it brings about?). I’ve also added some neutrals and golds throughout the look without taking away too much from the outfit.

Warm Hues

Daily essentials reimagined with a modern minimalist approach is what Oak + Fort stands for. I’ve been not only a fan of the style, but also a regular customer. This outfit was assembled with pieces from Oak + Fort, including the orange turtleneck jumper, the velvet joggers, and the boyfriend jacket. The coherent warm hues in the jacket’s pattern and the jumper, complemented by the heavy tones and chunky feel from the pants, purse and shoes, synthesized this stylish and appropriate look for the chilly weather.

Asymmetry

I love asymmetry in fashion. It can take form in dresses, tunics, skirts, coats and accessories. They add to an outfit a vibe that is artsy, edgy, trendy and youthful. Asymmetric dresses and tops are great because of their flexibility, they can layer over skinny jeans and leggings, or worn with shorts in warmer temperatures. My favorite asymmetric clothing piece is the famously flowy high-low skirt, and for accessories, instead of the traditional matching duo, I am much more into ones with uneven designs on each ear. Here I’m embracing my favorite high-low with an interesting vertical line that’s both slimming and elongating. It took me exactly 1 second to decide on this purchase from Zara, it was a no-brainer as I loved everything about it – it’s grey, it has a short turtleneck, and it’s got side slits to the inner high-low tunic, an unique and worthwhile ensemble. Oh! I got a new Ted Baker! Adorable right? 🙂 Hope you liked the look lovelies!

Just My Favorite Sweater

Hello everyone! Here I present you a beautifully knitted sweater from Garage (only $35) ! I remember shopping at Garage when I was in my teens, but that did not not stop me from loving this! The sweater is very thick in material, yet it has a soft touch and isn’t too harsh on my skin – a combination of style and comfort. I actually got this in one size bigger because I wanted to wear it as a sweater dress, which is my obsession this season, who needs pants anyway? Yes, Gucci Shades and UGGs together definitely makes sense to me 🙂
